Y oh Y oh Y oh My! Got tree tousand feet in tree hours today by doing the "Y" tree times. Turned out to be a decent leg day with a tirdy pound rucksack. I`m also tirdy-tree days out from doing Aconcagua...
Reminds me of that Pat Foley line: "It`s tree-tree in da tird with tree-tirdy-tree to go!" IYKYK
2024 started out strong on the heels of a year where much had been accomplished. I was hopeful to keep that momentum going. And it did for a while, but then swung the other way with many disappointments.

Didn`t really need snowshoes today but wanted to try out the new replacement bindings (thanks @tubbssnowshoes). I`m glad I did tho since there were enough drifts up high that would have made post-holing a be-ach.

Hiking to La Cruz de Alajuelita has been on my list since 2019... and finally got to do it on the tail end of this last business trip to Costa Rica. A 4-mile loop with 2,000` of elevation gain in the foothills of San Jose was still a jungle-like experience, numerous river crossings and all!
